    As a habs fan I do kinda wanna see them tank but I feel like it’s also very good for them to be competitive. Look at them last year(early) caufield was horrendous when it was just loss after loss. I think that starting off like this is a good way to get the young guys confidence up and to trust the org

    Dangle is so annoying… Can't stand him, he's as toxic as many other Toronto fans or Toronto media. Even I hate the leafs being a Habs fan, the core is great over there, they just cost so much and the defense is not top tier. We'll see!

    before they moved to Mullett Arena you could hear everything in the Arizona games as they never had 15000+ fans in their building

    Leafs fan weighing in: I get the frustration, but the Leafs fans calling for a blow-up of the team need to smoke a cigarette and take a nap.

    F+cking chill. They are going to see more production from Matthews and Marner (hence winning more games), and they will ultimately make the playoffs. I am more interested in seeing if they can progress beyond the first round. If they fail to do so (again), then yes, serious changes just have to be made.

    Seiders looked almost uncomfortable in his role out there this year, along with Raymond not really having puck luck nor a fraction of confidence he had last year, hopefully it turns around. Husso looks legit

    Personally as a leafs fan, I think Steve is right. If they trade a guy like tavares, you can get back 2 too 6 caliber guys potentially, even 1 and a better depth forward, or you even call up someone from the marlies

    Idk about Vegas. They're 10-2-0, but out of 12 games they played only 5 were against last year's playoff teams and Vegas won only 3 of these 5, all against first round exits. Calgary and Colorado are the only teams that have already played against Vegas to make it past first round and they both won in regulation

    This 10-2-0 can easily go down the toilet if Vegas can't win against such good teams

    For the leafs core its time to go, they aint winning shit. They look awful, i think Dubass's time is done. Same with Chief Keefe

    Omg "Missing Barkov" they didn't even play on the same line. Not only that, Barkov is not playing well either lol 🤣 Huberdeau will be fine, takes time on a new team for some people

    Re: the Wild, goaltending is going to be up and down, and we kind of know that. It's a holding pattern for Wallstedt. Our defense though…its a sieve. Guys out of position, not settling pucks and corralling rebounds, overcommitting, jumping out of passing lanes. Like, the individuals are all seem fine, especially Brodin, but the defensive group just is not performing well. Also, way to many penalties. Leading the league in overall penalty minutes. Might explain why the defense lapses, guys could be gassed from being on pk all the time. Other things to hang our hats on: after losing Fiala, Hartman having a slow start, and Greenway out, our offense looks better than expected; the power play looks much better than last year; young players are looking pretty good overall, and Rossi is improving.

    Pretty much hit all the key points, but Carter Hart’s great play is nice to see. I think a lot of these teams are really responding to their new coach (Philly, Vegas, & Boston are great examples of this)

    The Rangers look kind of opposite to how we were last year. The Rangers actually have been able to control play at 5v5 and outplay teams. They haven’t been as reliant on Igor Shesterkin who hasn’t even been that great so far. He’s been average but Halak has been shockingly bad. The problem is the team shooting % has been pretty low. Last week our top line of Kreider-Zibanejad-Kakko was #5 in the league in terms of expected goals for bud has only been shooting about 4%… they’ve been snake bitten. Also the Chytil injury has crippled our depth, they’ve been running two top lines a 4th line and a 5th line. Doesn’t help when Gallant constantly shoots the team in the foot with his line up and deployment choices. Remember what I said about the top line? Well, gallant has a bad habit of benching Kakko late in games when they need a goal to move up Barclay Goodrow… astounding that a coach can watch what Kakko is doing and mot throw him out any chance you can. He’s been the best player on the team at driving possession and suppressing opponents offense.

    Rangers will be fine as Igor gets back to his old self and the shooting percent goes back to average

    Binnington is 100% the issue in St Louis. His on ice performance is terrible and then he acts like a clown to cover up his garbage play

    Barley a 1/4 of the way into the season and you use wild card? Are they only playing 30 games?

    Weren’t you shitting on Vegas like 6 months ago? A lot of big hockey YouTubers was it was let’s gang up on Vegas. Everyone’s quiet on that front now.
