McLeod has played a lot better, and the BMW line in general has been unreal. Just wish we saw Bahl in for a few games over Smith.
No Mack for potentially a while (haven’t seen an update but I don’t expect anything good) means that Vitek will need to go 3 out of every 4 games to minimize Schmid, Daws, or Bernier (when healthy) getting extended ice time.
No Palat sucks, but Zetterlund is a great compliment to Nico. Holtz just straight up needs ice time to work through his growing pains or send him back to Utica. There’s value in watching from the press box but applying those lessons is the best teacher. I feel like with Nico and Zetterlund, Holtz is in a good spot. Nico and Zett do all the heavy lifting and open up space, and give Holtz good feeds. Plus Zett and Nico have good shots as well, so it’s not like Holtz would be solely responsible for that lines scoring
