Man, Leafs need a show for the new generation
McTavish was one incident, big difference, this kid did it over years and years
I'm just gonna say this about kallgren that I said somewhere else… I don't think they've lost confidence in him, I think they've finally decided to stop leaving him out to dry.
All of kallgrens past games have been non competes from the leafs, too many 2 on 1 or odd man rushes, or letting the forwards in top deep and not keeping them to the outside.
Kallgren will give you the saves you need as long as the play in front of him is good, and it showed in Boston and Carolina. He's also not the type to shy away from pressure. Everybody forgets Campbell got pulled in playoffs and kallgren was great in relief. Not to mention in European league he came in relieve for the injured starter and won them the cup.
