U have a lot more faith in Toews then i do! lol, what'd he get 10 goals last year and around 30-35 points. Id say Chicago would have to eat some of that salary, like 75% of it! I wouldn't take Toews on my team for anything over $2M. His presence isn't worth anymore then that. what's with the comments for fans over 18? lol. Im guessing bots maybe?

How can they afford it. Pittsburgh would like him for a last run on the third line. But numbers don't work. Yeah the Hawks could take 5 mill worth of contracts. At this point a first round pick and mid level pick would do it. Does not play wing. Never has. Good defensive player,faceoff guy and Shoot out guy. He's not injury prone. More health issues. Supposedly healthy as he's been in a while. Had down years in his prime. Puzzleling. At one time Coaches around the NHL considered him the player they would want on there team after Crosby.. And I know Suter loves this guy. 3 cups and playoff performances don't lie. So yeah go for it. Kadri is a bad deal. Guy is 32. Kane at 33 is the crown gem out there especially if you can extend him. Would not be surprised if Kane is productive till he's 40. He's that special. Hawks should really try for Laufranier straight up.

Who ever made this rumer up is crazy. There is absolutely no way the Flames would have the cap space for Toews.
this may have been a backup plan if they hadn't signed kadri. monahan and a 1st would have went the other way, and probably a prospect too.
i really don't know where toews would fit now, but at the deadline where we know who's in contention, there are places he could fit.
