If Kapanen's name was Joe Smith he would not be accommodated this way.
I still don’t know why they didn’t bring back Aston Reese to put with Blueger. He probably would have been really cheap. If he even wanted to come back of course.
When the penguins hired hextall I knew it wasn't good. I live in New Jersey and the flyers couldn't wait to get them out of town.
These daily comments keep talking about the bottom 6 guys & hardly on the 9 defense guys that aren't defending & looking lost. Let's go to the top & talk about one of my favorite players Letang & how he is responsible for a ton of the goal against us by horrible clears or miss coverages.
Just a reminder, Letang with a team worst -8
We’ve talked a lot about the bottom 6 and how it was a goal this off season to become harder to play against… what about attempting a top 9? Heinen has shown he can move up the lineup and Carter and Kap could clearly use a spark.

When healthy we could have 3 lines rolling with a 4th line consisting of penalty killers. That 3rd is no HBK line but could end up with some great matchups
Hextall is a bust. Time for changes to the management team. Clearly, that haven't adapted to today's NHL. These clowns are living off of past success and don't understand that today's NHL is young and mobile players. Look at NJ and Detroit. They rebuilt with young talented players.
