Something really has to be done about that offside rule. Ref is right in front of the play, calls it onsides, Devils score and they are able to review it? When it has ZERO to do with why the goal was scored?
God 35 years of being a diehard devil fan! It finally feels like a decade of dominance is coming! Nico being healthy is huge!! People forget he's only 23!! He's a kid. He's stronger and better. Once Jack gets like that OMG!
The Devils are a good team, but this Flames team is just washed. There's a clear lack of skill in the way they play and it's noticeable. They get almost DOUBLE the amount of shots on net and score fewer goals than their opponents. Not only can the Flames not score, they are having issues defending, which is supposedly what Sutter is known for.
I really feel like they need a new coach, Sutter isn't going to win against the way Jay Woodcroft coaches, he's too antiquated. And in order for the Flames to win Stanley, they gotta make it past EDM. And at this rate, I'd seriously question if they could make it past a team like CHI who's in rebuild mode.
Bet cangy regrets giving up the gig after this start.. truly incredible to watch how this team has turned it around.. love this new announcer, excellent replacement
The devils had by far their worst game of the season in terms of effort and SoG, and they still won, in regulation no less! Lucky 7 game winning streak!
