  1. You guys should go watch the video of the goalie getting his neck cut by a skate if you thought that was a lot of blood, lol.

  2. I’m definitely not a maroon fan but he knew almost right away that Kane was hurt and singled for help

  3. Slicing your arteries like that is no joke. You can easily bleed out and die within minutes if not cared for properly. Scary.

  4. I love how both teams alerts everyone that something serious happened. This is why I love sports. It's always one team when something this serious happens…

  5. As much as I HATE patty maroon, I have a ton of respect for him after this. It was good to see him care more about a fellow hockey player rather than the game. Hope Kane is ok🙏

  6. Hope Kane is okay. He is an important part of the Oilers so losing him for any duration of time will hurt. Hope he's back soon.

  7. Praying for him and his family. What’s sickening is seeing 14 smiling almost laughing about he what he just did to him. Disturbing. Poor kaner 💔🙏🏻

  8. Very proud of both teams. Amazing reaction tiem to this injury, and props to Kane for hustling to the bench despite his injury to care. Hope he’s okay.

  9. You know its bad when the other team is telling the ref to stop the game

  10. Yikes I still remember when Richard Zednik had a similar incident with a skate blade to his neck years ago in Buffalo. Hope Kaner’s okay

  11. These are the ones I hate to see the most. You never know if the blood loss could be too rapid to stop.

  12. ok, a couple things here…. first, best wishes for a full recovery. second, looked like kane went down due to a slew-foot, or slew-thigh, by the tampa d-man. just saying. third, kane shoots left, & it was his left wrist. goodbye wicked wrister, no matter how well the recovery goes. fourth, you idiots saying that it's karma or that he deserved it, you're horrific people. fifth, & perhaps most important… ovechkin is breaking records, & broadcasts are showing old still photos of the retired players with similar records. CHECK OUT THE GLOVES WORN BY GORDIE HOWE, MAURICE RICHARD, MIKE BOSSY, WAYNE GRETZKY, ETC…. sacrificing essential protection in exchange for more puck-handling freedom is very risky, & those short cuff gloves have been around for a long time now… re-evaluation time, imo, not to mention the lack of throat guards. i was 13 when i saw the clint malarchuk incident live on t.v. & zednik was just as bad… enough.

  13. How was that not a slewfoot call? Right in front of the refs as well. No player safety when it comes to infractions against oilers players. If the shoe was on the other foot there’d be a hand up immediately and calls for player safety to look into this.
I hope Kane is okay and will be okay in the long run.

  14. I hate Evander Kane like most people but this is just heartbreaking regardless of my hatred. Hockey aside, I hate seeing that happen to anyone.. Hope he recovers quickly!!!

  15. Prayers for a Speedy recovery for the tough guy. Kane quickly became one of my favorite Oiler after what he did in the playoffs.

  16. Alot can be said about Kane but regardless weather you love him or hate him you don't want to see this happen to any player.

  17. This could have been avoided had they called the slewfoot at the beginning of the play when it happened. Also Maroon needs to take a better path towards the puck there imo.
