Not beyond them to turn it round, but I went into this season with the nagging feeling the roster had ultimately been downgraded. Trocheck for Strome was the only upgrade. The losses of Vatrano, Copp, and Braun haven't been compensated for, and there are gaps all over the ice. And what is this insistence on playing Miller-Trouba as the first pairing?! This is effectively the same team that was struggling before the trade deadline last season.
No mention of the horrendous plays by CAPTAIN TROUBA on the 2nd and fourth Islander goals? Give me a break. Shesterkin ain't the problem, it's your overpaid BUM of a captain and jackass head coach.
