In Marner’s 7 game point streak he’s -1. In that same span, Matthews is -4. Both are well over point per game in that duration. Where has the 5 on 5 production/defence gone?

The offence still isn’t where it needs to be. Leafs are 22nd in GF/G.
In 14 games the Leafs have scored 4+ goals just 2 times. 1 of those games included an EN goal against WPG (technically 3 G then with a goalie in net) and the other was against the back-up in PHI.
Like please just give Matthews/Nylander and Tavares/Marner a try. There really is no reason not too.

FFS, as much as like him when he’s on his game, it’s time to replace Engvall with Holmberg.

Not a fan of Kerfoot on the first line. Just doesn’t seem like he’s thinking on the same page as Mitch and Auston. He’s not a good finisher and doesn’t really muck it up along the wall to get it back for them. If they’re up late in a game I don’t hate it but that’s about it.
