That sounds fair to me. Had a feeling Anderson getting 2 games kind of made Slaf get either 1 or 2 games max.

Fair, honestly. I was expecting one game until the announcement about the injury, which is usually going to inflate things a bit. Good lesson for Slaf about his size/positioning.

Yeah that’s the right call. Not malicious, but dirty, and the DOPS is meant to take injury into account. Hope Luff’s recovery goes well.
Zestyclose-Cricket82
Was to be expected. The double arm push to the numbers was an automatic suspension
JPMoney81
I was expecting 3 or 4 honestly considering the severity of the injury. Luff is out 10-12 weeks I heard?
Either way, a learning experience for Slaf for sure.
snark_enterprises
This was fair. He didn’t intend to injure but it was a bad hit. I think he’ll learn from this and play more focused hockey. He has all the tools both mental and physical to be a great player in the league.

So Pezzetta slotting in for a couple games or does Pitlick get reactivated?
CartiNYeezy2
Expected. Time for the pezz machine to pop in

Luff is having the absolute worst luck in the world. Hoping for a speedy recovery. At least faster than the listed one.
Slaf sits as he should.
Habs need a clean game tonight or else Oof, not a good look

Anderson full speed, full force into Pietrangelo, Pietrangelo lucky to not be injured: 2 games
Slaf bumps into off balance player, unlucky to get injured: 2 games
juliusceasarsalads
Fair and the right call for sure, but I’m disappointed that we’ll be missing him for the next 2 games! Hope he learns and this isn’t a regular thing from him
Old-one1956
That is the type of play you expect in the eighties when they had goons playing

I wouldn’t be bothered by this if Marco rossi hadn’t done the same thing to slaf with different results a week earlier. Kid probably thought it was OK. Also fuck the refs

So we figured out how to manage the surplus of forwards. I feel bad for the players that are gonna keep getting boarded by us though.
sean_psc
Fair.
I wasn’t aware last night that Luff got hurt that much, hopefully things go smoothly for him.
_6Evrett
Very fair
Moving on…

Fair punishment. Kid has to feel terrible, you know it wasn’t intentional and he knew it was bad as soon as it happened.
NGL, I laughed when they said “he has neither been fined nor suspended previously in his 10 GAME NHL CAREER” I mean, being suspended for 20% of your entire career is a little harsh… /s
