I love this jersey/uniform as an alternate for nostalgic reasons. The '99 finals run, Hasek, '05-'06 run. The shoulder stripes are supposed to be connected to the torso stripes. It makes the outline of a buffalo head. With the shoulders being the horns. If you look at a template of the original you can see it. It is a good jersey to mix up the rotation of colors during the season. As opposed to just the blue or white all year.
This thing is an absolute beauty it makes me think of the Hasek era in Buffalo there best years, Hasek was always an absolute beast he flipped flopped all over the ice to save the puck
The prime green logo should be a nice touch

Definitely with you on this, love the colours and black uniform but I think this is one of the most overrated jerseys of all time. The striping is just not it.
Grew up watching hockey when these first came out and didn’t like them then either. I guess it’s just really popular within the Buffalo fan base.
Love they brought this Jersey back some old Jerseys are great . That said still would love to see Black & Red Jersey of Their current Home & Away Jersey design with that Buffalo Logo .
Pat LaFontaine wore that jersey.
I do believe that the striping (on the old one at least) help form the outline of a buffalo head, hence why they are where they are.
