  1. Happy for Jack, and Foegele, sad for Evander…best wishes, thankfully he was in an environment where you get quick assistance.

  2. Before the second period Tyson Barrie could be seen talking to a linesman. The linesman had a stern look on his face and was pointing towards the Oilers bench. It was obvious the linesman felt he had made the right decision and was not going to listen

  3. Best wishes to Evander Kane – not only could that cut have threatened his life, it could have ended his career if it cut his wrist tendons. … The Oilers lose not only a gutsy player and goal scorer, but also a large amount of team toughness with his injury. … They will miss this guy’s swagger, skill and intimidation factor very much.

  4. The Evander Kane incident wouldn't and shouldn't have happened if 1, the slew foot on Kane was called and 2, for, there was no reason for Magoon to be there at a late, nevermind the knee-to-head shot, which led to the wrist slaughter.🤨
Bettman and company better start getting a handle on the alarming, inexcusable, and atrocious minor hockey-grade officiating.🤬 (as pointed out by Bruce, re; the Tyson Barrie icing debacle…) Bruce, (penalty shot non-calls notwithstanding…)😏

  5. Much improved play from Fog and JP. Funny how players in deep ruts sometimes somehow find their game when it's 30 seconds to demotion. If JP can keep that up, He'll be getting some goals here. Smarter reads/plays from the Oil over all, but still to many "touch pass's" to the opposition, net front clears to one of the other teams most dangerous shooters etc, to be comfortable. Campbell came up large when the chips were down. What else can ya ask? Good win!

  6. Soup seems to play better against the eastern teams and skinner plays better against the western teams!

  7. They got a gritty win against one of the best teams in the league in a place they haven't won in since 2009.
Foegle got a goal against a vezina winner and soup won the duel against him too.
And to see them retain their composure despite the circumstances with Kanes scary injury.

I pray he has a speedy recovery and the injury wasn't as bad as it looked.

  8. It was Ryan Murray (#28) that stopped Maroons shot twice from the goal line. Unsung hero tonight.

  9. Campbell really needed that one. He was great, and hopefully he can build off it.

  10. My prayers are with Evander Kane. Evander, I wish you a speedy recovery and I know you will be back and when you come back to the team, you will go on a goal scoring tear. Please make sure you are fully healed before you return to play. Don't rush back and make sure you are fully healed. We love you!

  11. The whole team brought their A game, including Jack Campbell. Boys were passing and moving the well. Aside from the penalties, they play really well overall. PK’s finally getting dialed in.

  12. Taking the positives from this potential, TSN turning point, the OIL can dig deeper, bonding & mining their collective abilities & potential 👍

  13. Non-called slew foot on Kane directly resulted in this horrific incident. We must also remember it was a slew foot on Draisaitl which hurt him in the playoffs. Very dangerous play and should really be a five minute major.

  14. Maroon is a goof on ice, honestly, he should just retire!
As for Kane, I hope he lets this resting time build up the fire in him and when he comes back he is healthy!
Oilers have so much depth this year, no worries, Farm team got good players waiting for the chance to play in the NHL.
