are seattle a more skilled team than us. they sure look good so far. are they playing a more structured game than us?
To the person reading this, even though I don't know you. I wish you the best of what life has to offer 🙏 🤗 ❤️
Even though the team got a win, when you watch them, things seem to be a bit disarrayed. The loss of Brad Shaw and Scott Walker in the off-season has not been talked about much, but I think it has a much bigger impact than people could have imagined. Walker was recruited by Boudreau to join the Canucks, and I have always wondered why a guy would decide to come here, worked half a season, then just walked away… publicly I think Walker said it was for family reasons, but you always wonder if management/ownership had pulled a Trevor Linden "amicable" departure with Walker too… the guy clearly had helped the Canucks on the defensive side of things.
The 4th Line last year forechecked tenaciously, be it regular shift keeping the opposing top line down or penalty killing. This year's version had done none of that. But Joshua does add that grit and toughness needed on the line. Hope the other lines share in the forecheck mentality. Just look at Carolina and the Islanders, they forecheck you to death from top to bottom, with no cheats. Canucks needed this mentality to succeed!
Drance opens his mouth and thesaurus fell out.
Ryan Reynolds is just getting in Bettman's good bucks to take a shot at the 'Nucks in a joint bid. This is the future we need.

Thomas the Canucks are out scoring Martins mistakes. We complain about forwards, we complain about our Dmen but we have struggle in large part to poor goaltending.
For me, last night was an example of the way the team has to win, generally speaking. Obviously, you'd like a 60 minute effort, but a 6-4 win sounds about right for this team. They have to play an 80s style of hockey – high octane offence, because if they sit back and try to play passive, they don't have the depth defensively or the forwards willing to come back and play a responsible 200-foot game to win low scoring games. Demko is Demko, but at his best, he's still not Patrick Roy. And I shake my head at fans who demand OEL be traded, not just because it's implausible, but because he and Schenn are the only ones who seem to know how to play consistently in their own zone. Hughes has improved, but he's not paid to be a shutdown D man. He's paid not to make too many defensive errors and put up a lot of points. OEL may be overpaid, but he's also exactly what they need. They need more of a younger version of what OEL provides – steady defensive hockey. The only really improvement I can see that's possible for the Canucks right now is making the Twins assistant coaches. Maybe they can help this team with their "habits."
Drance should be writing about tennis not hockey lol
Drance wannabe Steve Simmonds lol
Demkos playing against playoff teams lol
Outscored is all that matters lol
this team will do well enough to not get into the lottery. that's the history of this organization. perennial middle of the pack team. won a game they didn't deserve to win. i've gotten to the point where i don't really care about the outcome of their games.
Brad Shaw was a HUGE loss!
Sure hope Demko has a good game tonight. I don't think I can deal with another goalie controversy. Cuz it is weird that despite playing double the games, Demko has 1 win and Martin 3.
Sedins are class.
Period.
This show is such an unprofessional train wreck every time
