Marty is and always will be…….GOAT 🐐
TLDR: Marty previously split time between the business side and hockey ops he is now moving full time to the hockey side.
It’s always interesting to see these legends entering into management and wether they’re there because they earned it or just got the job because of who they are. We’ve obviously seen it go bad (although I honestly can’t think of one right now), and then we’ve seem Yzerman and Sakic. I think the fact that he’s been with the organization and seems to have been utilized in multiple roles, and is VP for now, is a good sign.
