Never thought I’d see Carter Hart at #1 . Dude has come a long way

  2. SomeFunPun

Happy to see Samsonov here, but skeptical of the sample size because Jones is here too

  3. risciss93

Hart is the main reason this AHL team is doing anything in the NHL.

  4. AGOODHARDSQUANCHIN

Demko well get it together just in time to narrowly miss the playoffs again

  5. Additional-Still-435

Habs have the best tandem in the league the numbers are there.

  6. MrMcGibblets0

    Hail Satan

    Go Ass

    All Hail King Georgie

  7. Seems like it’s either feast or famine this year. Every time I see Ullmark play I’m think to myself “he’s gotta be a top 3 goalie this year” and then think “along with Hellebyuck and Vasi probably” and then I look up this list every 5-6 days and totally forget about Hart who is leaving everyone in his dust

  8. Ingram is clearly an AHL goalie but wow is Veggie ever going off

  9. warpedashell

Penguins fan here, looks about right

  10. Of 70 goalies; Hart 1st, Vejmelka 5th, Andersen 62nd, Gibson 66th, Demko 69th, and Elvis 70th.

Just as we all predicted going into the season.

  11. DastardlyRidleylash

Veggie in the top 5, you love to see it.

  12. hockey_transgirl

🙁 at least Tarasov isn’t in the bottom 20 anymore

  13. MatthewWickerbasket

Vanecek not in either list. ***#LEAGUEAVERAGEGOALTENDING***

  14. Queltis6000

If Hart keeps this up he may end up being the front runner for the World Cup in 2024.

  15. I’ve been waiting 50 years for there to be a Kraken goalie on the first page!

  16. TrueNorthStrong1898

Helle right back where he should be. I’ve always wanted to see that guy get a chance to play behind a team with some sort of defensive structure

  17. notsofastandy

    Gibson is definitely a bottom

  18. post-ale

No sens goalie on either list. Guess our goaltending is… average!

  19. OakNLeaf

Detroit: Top 20 Goalie & Bottom 20 Goalie. At least it’s balanced.

  20. DontSniffTheFinger

This can’t be right. R/hockey snd oiler fans said the leafs needed Campbell and should’ve signed him when they had the chance

  21. KeepUpTheFPS

Carter Hart with the big Carey Price energy

  22. SelfDepricationandMe

Shesty hasn’t been particularly shesty-like this season. Wonder what happened there.

Also, as much as Otter’s contract is a steal for Dallas, holy crap that Carter Hart deal.

  23. FunImprovement166

Man I really like Elvis and Demko too. Hope they can turn it around.

  24. Table_Coaster

Binnington did always strike me as a bottom

  25. Shadowbladez337

Surprised about Peterson, Vladar and Jarry all being so low. Have they all struggled that much or just small sample size making them look worse temporarily?

  26. juliusceasarsalads

Small sample size so far but Montembault has looked really good so far this year, we love to see it.

  27. StaticAnnouncement

Not sure the Vezina is coming to New York this year- but if it does, it will be Sorokin.

  28. Majkl_94

Wonder how Vezmelka would do on a playoff team.

  29. DudeWithTheAccount

I like how all three of my fantasy goalies are in the top 10. Georgiev, Samsonov, and Ullmark.

  30. smoked_before_this

    Thatcher Demko 🤝 John Gibson

Elite American goaltenders being left out to dry by their defense

  31. FC_Cincy

If our defense wasn’t on a milk carton, our goalie wouldn’t be dead last.

  32. Jkil6150

i bet the Vezina finalists will be Hellebuyck, Sorokin, and Oettinger

  33. Helios321

With Vilardi playing the way he is and some of the other kids looking great, the only real blemish on Blake’s transcript here is goaltending. Really flubbed the investment into Peterson

  34. Downvote_Comforter

The sample sizes are way too small to draw any meaningful conclusions on GSAx for goalies. I love GSAx over large sample sizes, but there is just too much volatility in small sample sizes.

  35. legalrancerr

Crazy that Campbell, Andersen, Mrazek, and Rittich are all recebt ex-Leafs in the bottom 15. Good to see Reimer near the top of the bunch, he’s held up well since he left
