  1. Very emotional night, listening to everyone talk about their memories of Mr. McNab. It’s just so weird hearing Mos talk and not hearing Maxy’s i commentary. It’s going to take a long time for this to seem right….if it ever does. RIP Mr. McNab

  2. Thank you so much! Such a nice tribute! I will watch it in segments as I want to savor it.

  3. We’re gonna miss ya Pete. I tried to watch every Avs game from 2013-14 to 2018-19 and when Comcast banned Altitude. I felt as if I lost a friend, I was heartbroken. But I’ve watched every Avs game on national tv since and I remember there was some long nights in there with Kyle Keefe and Pete always had a way of comforting us Avs fans during those years and 2017-18 Pete said it best the Avs are going back to the playoffs. I love my Avs more than life and Pete really is gonna hurt. We’re gonna miss you Pete

  4. One of the best tributes I’ve ever seen. Going to miss him a ton and one of the best. We won it for you Maxy

  5. RIP Pete, you were the conduit for all of us to the team. Your kindness and good natured-ness shone through in every broadcast.

  6. I miss him so much. I feel for you all who were so close to him. Love and miss you Maxy.

  7. My wife and I watched this and holy smokes. I’ve never cried over someone passing that I didn’t know personally but this was a mess for me. What a wonderful person. He touched the lives of so many and I’ve been so lucky to get to listen to him for so long. Rest in peace you beautiful man.

  8. This was a tearful night. I appreciate you all honoring him all night tonight it was absolutely lovely. Hearing these stories was just wonderful, thank you. Y'all mimic his mannerisms perfectly, so funny. Great seeing Lauren back here with you all tonight.

We miss all of you as much as we miss the Avs and hockey as a whole when the season is over. We are as excited to see hockey back as we are to see y'all every season. There will be an emptiness, a something missing for a while. However, you all are so fantastically entertaining that you will help us and your crew at Altitude not feel too too empty during future broadcasts.

Love, light, and strength to all. Thank you for all of the knowledge and entertainment Peter. You are a treasure to us all!

  9. I've watched the Avs, and Peter McNab for 27 years. Seeing and listening to an Avs game without his voice is really strange, and just doesn't feel right. Will likely take a long time before the games without him there don't feel strange, if ever.

  10. I worked for the lightning for 3 years from 2018-2021. I’ve also been an Avs fan my entire life. I had the opportunity to meet Peter and I fumbled it… we were in the freight elevator at Amalie. If I remember correctly it was the night josty got the hatty. Anyway I was in the freight elevator on my way to deliver merch to one of the stores pre game and I saw Peter and Mose. I didn’t know Moses face but god did I know Peter. It was a stressful day and it wasn’t really looked upon nicely to bother important people so I just kinda stood there and said to myself in my head “that’s fucking Peter mcnab”. Unfortunately they got off before I could work up the courage to say hello to Peter. Really wish I had. He’s had such an impact on not only me, as an Avs fan but my dad as a hockey fan who lived in the north east. I’m gonna miss him. His voice. This one hurts bad

  11. I could have watched 24 hours of this straight, listening to everyone's stories about Pete. I wonder like Foote what other players stories and interactions were with Pete. So sad this happened. But I smiled and laughed with all the stories tonight and it makes it a little better…Thank you to everyone that shared their personal moments with all of us!!!! I hope the Avs organization does something a little bit more than just the video tribute for Pete, which was so touching and emotionalfor me, …I think he belongs in the rafters with Pierre Lacroix. He was more than just a broadcast personality, As Foote said he was like a coach, a GM, a father figure..He was a MAJOR part of the All the Avalanche teams since day 1!!! Rest easy Peter McNab thank you for all the years in Avs Country!

  12. I just wish I could click the like button more than once… I suppose I can, but only in odd numbers.

  13. Watching this tribute showed everything about Peter the hockey analyst, player, human being, mentor, father figure, and friend. It was so heartwarming watching all these people from the past and present talk about a tremendously special guy who made everyone watching Avs games feel right at home. We love and miss you, Maxy. God Bless.
