I wish I played fantasy hockey against ken Holland, he loves buying high. Very evident by what he pays for his number one goalie & defenceman.
They have room to forge forward and seekout the needed playoff spot without Kane. The trade deadline will leave them options as long as they remain in contention. 🎟

What an absolute waste of money and ice time. What do these coaches and G.M.'s see in this player? He is as lost as Debrusk is in the booth.
The team defence around him INCLUDING Draisatl (But not McDavid) is appalling and the only thing in Darnell's defence (LOL) is that there are not players around him to receive a puck. Probably why he leads the NHL in icings.
Trade him.
