Yes this jersey is 'reverse', but is it really 'retro'? A black version of their original home jersey or red version of the original third jersey would have been better design options…….
Liked video because you hit my thoughts exactly 💯. Great concept but not retro, especially if the team is still wearing the jersey it's based on. I was hoping for a white or silver/gray og black.
3/10. It is a nice looking jersey, but this is suppose to be a Reverse Retro and and the original jersey it is based off of is only 3 years old. That also means the black and orange NHL is wrong because that logo was long gone by 2019. Still, there are some RRs that are worse.
This one was a miss for me. It’s not ugly but I’m not wowed in any way. 6.8/10
There's nothing retro about it, and I hate the "CANES" wordmarks on both jerseys. With their actual logo on it, I think it would be a great home uniform. Same with the away, put the actual logo on it, and it's a nice away uniform.
this is a BIG miss for me. Dear Arceus in the ether I hope and pray this doesn't become Carolina's main logo. I feel like its lazy to use ur team name as the logo in letters. I'm a Leafs fan and they do do that but I almost feel like I'd prefer a Leafs jersey no text then have the team name blazed all over.

The Hurricanes jersey is not really a Reverse Retro it's basically their away jersey in red that could become their new home jersey very lame lazy attempt by the Hurricanes I do say it's one of the worst Reverse Retro jerseys 2.0's
I was hoping they'd do their original logo on a black jersey instead of red and have the og warning flag shoulder patch that would have looked clean and been reverse retro but I will say I'm glad this jersey exists as opposed to not existing.

It works for a new home way jerseys for the Canes but not a fan of it as a retro they could have maybe took the Hartford colors and slap there logo on it could have maybe been interesting, at least it would have been retro in it's on unique way

Not a great "Reverse Retro," but a great jersey. I'm wondering how it'd look with the team's primary logo on it.
Also I used to hate the idea of diagonal text outside of the Rangers just for their history. HOWEVER, but the Pittsburgh reverse retro started to sell me on it then their alternate did as well. Now Carolina has been warming up to me.

Honestly, this is almost 90% the New Jersey Devils jersey/uniform they wore before Adidas made the jerseys except with the word mark “CANES”

Ngl, I would FAR rather have the primary color be a heather/charcoal grey with red lettering and the squares in the stripe be almost a white 🤔 oh well
Word mark jerseys are so boring, lame and lazy.I want to see logos, primary or secondary. I don't want to see letters and words when I know who the team is.Why do we like teams ,because of the logos, it's all about the logos, and word marks are not logos, they are laziness and terrible. I'll pay for a jersey with the primary or secondary logo on it ,but I'm not going to pay for letters and words. Absolutely beyond boring.
