It’s only been 14 games, but there are reasons for optimism that we’re heading in the right direction. Even in the games we’ve been losing lately to top teams we haven’t been getting blown out of the water.
This skid sucks but our scoring ability is real and I have to imagine our defense will look better when they are more healthy. It would also help if we stopped scoring on ourselves and giving up a ton of breakaways and odd man rushes.

I posted late in the game thread as well.
Only 3 times have we scored less than 3 goals this season. We have yet to be shutout. We are averaging over 30 shots a game.
Yesterday we took over 50 shot attempts, and give credit to the GK they blocked 23 and we scored 4, three of which on special teams 2 PP, 1 SH.
If we can clean up the constant giveaways you should win alot of games averaging over 3 goals a game.

Kinda crazy that the 2010-2011 Sabres started off 3-9-2 and ended up making the playoffs.
