I would think an improved Top 4 defenseman would at the very least make the Kraken a tougher team to play against (especially one that can make their special teams stronger from the blueline)….As long as they don’t massively overpay!
Other than the Grubauer contract (and somewhat with Oleksiak), I think they’ve been smart about their cap management.
Looking forward to year #2 for the Kraken.

The VGK were a complete anomaly.
This team has 0 players driving the play, Good puck moving D or a goalie that can stop a puck.
These adds are just a few puzzle pieces added until they spend big in free agency and land a true #1 center. A good move would be to pick up Klingberg
Burakovsky is not proven, And in my opinion under achieved playing with the linemates he had, this dude is going to see pure regression not havibg the same calibre linemates. He got this contract because of Kadri!
Hot take: at this moment in time, Bjorkstrand is the best overall player on the roster. Sick sick mitts.
