  1. for me, it works like this
whatever team gets the comeback, Wins.

  2. This is a great series both of these teams want it bad I say ducks will win game 5 then hawks will take game 6 and game 7 will go to anaheim.

  3. i see Timonen was the one who gave the puck away typical see thats the reason why we got rid of him cause he's too old and he cant handle the puck right

  4. "He can score goals like that in his sleep."

    Pierre

Man those three are so good together on NBC calling the games.

  5. Hurts to watch this as a Ducks fan knowing had we held on to the lead, we would have probably won the series in 5 games. But alas, they found a way to give up a goal a few minutes later and the rest is history.

  6. This Ducks team was INSANE! Too bad they couldn't close out this game or game seven, too many chances, just like previous years Ducks can't find a way to close out the series.

  7. as a blackhawks fan i have to admit anehiem was a good team not any more

  8. Ducks should have won this. They had so many games where they could have put the Blackhawks away and choked. They ended up missing their opportunities in the multi OT game losses to the Hawks. They were extremely close to winning this series 4-1 if not for that.

Game 6 and 7, they got outplayed but the Ducks did the best of the first 5.

  9. Everyone knew this series was for the Stanley Cup because no one in the East stood a chance.

  10. As a lifetime Hawks fan, it is good to finally have a great team (and consistently). This was the first NHL game I ever attended, and I couldn't have asked for a better game! Double overtime and got to see the ducks net 3 goals in 37 seconds while the Hawks still pull off a win?!
I still get goosebumps remembering every goal from Saad's to Vermette's.Go Hawks!

  11. it stinks the Ducks gave up the lead immediately after and lost the game, but that was still a great game! Met some Chicago fans while watching this moment. Still friends to this day!

  12. It really sucks that they still lost the game. If it weren't for the fact that the Ducks had, in fact, been outplayed for most of that game, and the fact that it was in Chicago, we would have had a whole different series on our hands. A Ducks win here puts the series at 3-1, meaning an essentially guaranteed trip to the Cup Final, assuming they still win that one extra game.

  13. And like clockwork the referees predictably started calling penalties against Anaheim so the Hawks could get on the powerplay and tie the game, sad when you can bet your house on the refs handing the Hawks powerplay after powerplay

  14. Probably one of the biggest comeback seasons the Ducks ever had and yes they lost and it was devastating but still one of my favorite seasons to look back on

  15. However, the Hawks scored a little later in the third, sending the game to overtime. The Hawks then scored a 2OT goal to win it (Vermette) but still a very nail-biting moment.

  16. If Freddy Andersen had just made a simple save from a shot off the boards about 3 minutes later, Ducks would've won the Cup. This game still hurts.

  17. it makes me mad tho..all the 3 players who scored are not in the team now if u count kesler that will miss 2020 season

  18. Anaheim was clearly the better team than Chicago…
Seen this game in 2015 at Dave n busters at the block of orange..
We we're yelling and screaming being in good cheer
    Lol

  19. It really sucks they didn't get to play for the cup that year. They probably would've won it!
