Whenever they play a team that has work ethic or discipline of any kind they always get skated into the concrete.
The King, Borje Salming. He was my childhood hero. I had a lump in my throat the whole game just thinking about his introduction. If you're too young to know about Borje Salming, do yourself a favour and put his name in the YT search bar.
It was embarrassing that the current squad didn't seem to give any effort (aside from Nylander who looked like he wanted to impress) when they had The King watching.

Pens back to .500 at 6-6-2. They MUST start winning consistently. With all that money invested in Crosby, Malkin, and Letang, losing is not an option.
Malkin goes beast mode after 2 penalty calls. Leafs can't go beast mode after 6 straight first round losses. TML in a nutshell!

i've been a fan for life and at this point i'm pretty bored of the games, nothing really means anything except the playoffs, i'm not too into the season this year or care too much, not excited at all, i was year after year but after this last game 7 that i happened to be at, maybe that's why, i just don't care lol
Didn’t Babcock want them to play defensive hockey? It only took them a few years.
These talking points are getting so boring. It’s not the host’s fault. They are amazing. But the same top players who are not playing inspired. And then the rest of the team filled with no names who look even more boring to watch. Point is there is nothing about this team is average and really needs major changes and probably some sort of retool/rebuild.
If the loafs get past the first round, it will feel like winning the Stanley Cup.
