    > The price of the “over-the-top” service has yet to be determined but sources predict it will be between $20 and $25 a month — with an incentive to buy an annual package.

I honestly don’t see how Regional Sports Networks like MSG and YES will be able to survive without some kind of mass merger. Or maybe the individual leagues themselves unify all the RSNs while also ending blackouts. Otherwise, the major sports are just going to continue losing fans because they can’t watch their teams. Who’s going to pay that much for each of their favorite teams, on top of all the other streaming services they already pay for?

Many will pay the money for it. And I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t, especially since the rangers are a considerable part of my life. The reason MSG wants to do this is because they are getting fucked raw in the ass with no lube by cable companies. And the blackouts are making it impossible for fans to watch their favorite teams on espn+, by which it’s being advertised as streaming *most* nhl games. Let alone any streaming service except for Fubo (which I have been loving since we cut the cord). The NHL has gotta renegotiate the tv contacts, because they are losing a SHIT LOAD of income to illegal streaming.

Would be nice if they first fixed the app. MSGGO has so many issues.

I will gladly cancel fubo and buy this

The MSG Go app is a steaming pile of dogshit. Can’t imagine this would be any better
