every stat says the rangers are a good but unlucky team. anyone who says the season is over at this point is silly, but i can’t blame anyone for being frustrated
I mean last season it was the opposite.. Rangers played really bad but still got their wins due to abnormal? seasons from x amount of players. I remember some, quite many IIRC, talking about how analytics cant be trusted etc because of this. It’s all fine and dandy but at the end of the day you still gotta ask yourself.. Are they unlucky or did something happen to those who scored our goals last season? Another thing to ask yourself, are they thinking to much about playing good? If our analytics stats was shit last season with better goalscoring then maybe they put to much thought into making everything look better?
I have no idea but it’s interesting.
I think this is mental more than anything, we are still a very young team, and the high of playing teams like Tampa and car to playing AZ is def tough on them, and the difference is opponents now circle us on their calendar as the team 2 wins away from the final in addition the being circled for MSG, gotta get ready to play knowing every opponent will give us their best
