Yeah honestly I was not happy when they signed JT. I really was hoping they would’ve traded him at the deadline. I’m fully aware he’s a ppg player, I just don’t think he’s worth 8mil a year.
Trading our firsts away for two years didn’t help- also petey and Hughes- I don’t blame them for not wanting to play here.
I’ve been a Canucks fan since I was 12 and I’m 40 now. It’s painful but they’ll always be my favorite team. In the meantime I’ve found some exciting up and coming teams to root for as secondary “favorites” if you will. MTL/DET/BUF/ANA/LAK and others like VGK/SEA/ and even TOR is more exciting to watch than Van (good god). Petey is exciting af and I believe he is in/entering his prime now. Love that VAN 2nd line but if they wanted to keep Bo I really don’t understand why they signed all of the off season contracts.
Relegate Miller to the 3rd line and put Bo on L1 with the way the two have been playing. Idk what they were thinking 8mil with a nmc for Miller…garbage.
