Any help for an Avs fan out of towner in the bar?
Avs made them look like a rookie team in the preseason. What a thing to witness! We avs fans have been waiting to a game like this against vasi. We solved him and his team. I hope Bednar sits the whole team down after winning the cup and says “if you’re happy here and your in your one life you’d like to build a dynasty, let’s do everything we can to stay together. This means not everyone will make what they’re worth, but!, everyone will be playing hockey for not just a team but a family. Let’s do this for 5 years and then we can re-assess the plan.”
Let’s hope bednar can present the reality of what is possible with this team for the near future and keep the top 15.

Those guys at the Denver Post are just kind of hoping everyone forgot about the "Ken doll" article. And all of the numerous other times they called for his firing. And I'm not about to be above calling out a coach, if he's clearly not doing a good job. I'm not of the belief that you have to be a coach, to judge the performance of one, as some believe. But I've never been able to find any legitimate fault in what Bednar has done. I disagree with minor things here and there, but the guy has shown he's a leader, not just in his decision making, but in his demeanor. And he makes absolutely no excuses in a sport whose coaches are notorious whiners, across the board. His team takes that mentality from his example, and you see the results.
If that isn't the coach you want, then you'll never be happy with any coach.
Ive listened to your podcast for the last week and a half from Canada and i have to say if you guys are representing Denver and some of the companies that sponsor you especially the Avalanche id fire you all. Many people watch including kids and for them to hear a bunch of guys who’s had a few too many beers slurr and swear id be on the phone the next day firing your boy club. You should listen to yourselves sometime. Im embarrassed for you guys. The only classy person sitting in is the lady.
