What should have been the punishment for Matthew Tkachuk for his stick to the LA of Kings goalie Jonathan Quick?
Maybe Tkachuk lit a fire under Quick’s rear and will make him play better

The Quarter of the season is the end of "early". It gives you a large enough sample size and you have went through a few cycles of good and bad.
The first 20 game mark. That's when you should already know what you got and are already implementing changes to solidfy the system.
If it was 5 games Tkachuk would have really hurt his team by being out of the lineup and may have caused him to think twice. But 2 games doesn’t teach a repeat offender like Tkachuka dam thing!!!
