While I’m disappointed in my isles for taking the L they proved they can hang with the defending Stanley cup champions and that’s something they can hopefully build on and once they start a chemistry with Pageau in the lineup it’ll be a great offense. Go isles. Nice game and win blues

This game had it all. Pageau with the Isles, and suddenly they have a defense!?! Goalie's making key saves. And Parayko going on offense! The playoffs are here early!
Damn this game was impressive by the islanders. They had almost no offense after the first but their defense was unreal. It felt like we were in the neutral zone for more than 20 minutes. Glad we were able to pull this one out in the end but wow the Islanders have the best defense in the league (aside from the blues).
We took most of the first 20 minutes off, but regrouped in the 2nd. The Isles couldn't really generate much after that. Blues had plenty of looks and open net chances; felt as if we could've put 6 on the board. Dramatic win though; we did to NY what they did to us back in October. Down 2-0; storm back to win in OT, 3-2.
IDK if it's just me, but I think that the Blues jerseys that they wore tonight gives them great luck! Because when they played the Flames in this jersey they had a shutout. And this game they came back off a 2-0 deficet! Let's go Blues!!!!

Kept an absolutely buzzing Islanders team to 16 shots through 3 periods. My God these Blues can do some magical stuff when they buckle down together.
