Big mistake if they trade 🍞 👨. His contract is the fault of the previous regime, and not 🍞 himself. The current GM, however, has a strong dislike for most non-American players, and his bias has only worsened and become more obvious than in the recent past. The GM also gave up a lot — collectively — to bring in the hail from the Trade Deadline; only to fall short and end up with fewer bargaining chips to play at the off-season table. The GM is rather smug and undoubtedly two-faced: not to be trusted.
Also, 16 points for their playoff-run isn’t shabby; that’s close to a point per game. Strome doesn’t deserve a new contract: he sucked in the playoffs and he has had better numbers because for 3 years now, he’s played on a line with 🍞: not the other way around.
