Not an Oilers fan, but this has been great progress for the team IMO. You have to edge closer and closer each season (like Washington did) and eventually all the pieces will fall into place. They need to replace Mike Smith, and they need to get a little better on defence, but they can't complain about offence.
15:37, “if there’s no deflection there’s no rebound.” Stop being such a homer acting like if it wasn’t tipped that there is 100% chance Smith swallows the puck. Dude is constantly out of position, gives up plenty of rebounds, stop sucking him off.

I'm glad the Oilers made it this far, but it's sad they got swept again since the Jets did back in 2021, but this time, the Avs swept them.
Oilers fans that have been watching diligently since the McDavid Era started know how much progress this is. A few resignings, maybe a trade or 2 for acquisitions and the Oilers will be a real menace next year.
