Second in TOI but still 3 min/game behind Power. Still think Thompson wins the Calder but hopefully Guhle makes it on as a finalist.

I remember being pissed at our late season win that would drop us outside the top-10 of what was supposed to be a strong draft. I thought the Habs would draft Rossi, Perfetti, Lundell or Jarvis that year. Even at 16, I thought we’d end up with Mercer!
When they announced we had picked Guhle, I can say I wasn’t thrilled. The description of Kaiden at the draft sure was underwhelming. A stay-at-home defenseman with some limited offensive upside. I thought to myself: « great another Chiarot ». But then I slowly started getting excited with how he presented himself during his playoff in the W. The excitement continued with Team Canada. He was THE guy on the backend. And now I see him in the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge and I « get » how lucky we are to have him, how much he is going to bring to this franchise and how much better he is to « Chiarot 2.0 ».
Timmins did very well by picking him up.
