So the answer was Jordie Benn all along
Always nice to get a win against both your opponent and the refs. No, that pity PP at the end of the game doesn’t excuse the missed calls when the game was actually close.
Was a bit of an adventure at time for Murray, but overall he had a great game. And hey, as a bonus, he didn’t get injured.
Besides for the fire drill at the beginning of the 2nd, I thought it was a solid road win.

I thought Murray was great tonight, he made some solid saves to keep the game at 3-2 and really helped settle the game down. Also the refs were awful tonight, so many missed calls tonight that the Pens got away with
Holmberg had one hell of a game. I don’t know how you keep him out of the lineup right now. Every night he’s been in our bottom 6 has benefitted.

The refs tried to get the Pens back into the game, but they were unsuccessful.
Shouldn’t have taken this long to separate Matthews and Marner. 2nd game with the new lines and it’s our highest scoring game of the season.
I’ve always been impressed w/ Sandin’s poise of the puck in general. But I haven’t liked his game the last few games. The second goal was really rough to watch, gifting it to Crosby.

At least as far as the eye test goes, Kerfoot has been downright atrocious the last 4-5 games. Did I miss something or did he straight up look off a wide open shot from the slot in order to pass to a covered Tavares who was in a far worse position to score?

Remember how upset some people here were about the Benn signing and how he was a borderline AHL defenseman…. For a guy who signed the contract he did I would say he’s punching well above his weight class.
