I feel like the hockey gods are playing some sick joke on us and I would really appreciate if they would stop

  2. That_One_Shy_Guy

This team needs to get their shit together. Our defense was non existent.

  3. ThePeteVenkman

I officially identify as a Sabres doomer.

  4. GuybrushThreepwood94

Another loss resulting from absolutely terrible play in the D zone. Tough to watch. It’d be cool if another line could contribute a bit offensively too.

  5. xBialyOrzel

Adams needs to be working on a trade for a top 4 d man. When Dahlin and or Power aren’t on the ice we get absolutely caved in. Another game where the opposing team had no business scoring that many.

  6. time2fly2124

ok, who’s got some ideas for me to make into side bar banners when we hit 10 straight.

  7. AggravatingFinding71

The good news is, Adams only needs to make moves for Wings, Dmen, Goaltenders and a coach.

  8. 3rdEyeJoker

Oh man the final 2 minutes with goalie pulled just made me upset

  9. SuperStudMufin

Maybe its good if I just front load all of my seasonal depression in the first half of november.

Fuck this hockey team. Haven’t iced a team that have played ‘meaningful’ games in Feb./March in a fucking decade. Season will be over by January again. Can’t believe we waste our time giving a shit about these bozos.

  11. helikoopter

Update – I didn’t need them to score, I poured another.

  12. NoMoreCacao

And just like that, this team is hard to watch again

  13. thebenson

Bryson needs to sit or play forward.

    He’s a liability out there.

  14. Lanlis12

The boys got the suck cranked up to 11.

  15. LAMProductions99

I would like to formally apologize to u/puepy, and request to join the sabres doomer club

  16. joeyg151785

With our upcoming schedule, We may eclipse 10 loses or more in a row.

Oh and we lost to the Canucks, Kraken & Coyotes.

    F this team.

  17. Don’t put offensive players in front of the net, allow opposing offensive players to be in front of the net = loss

  18. Palmybeaches

Ah, feeling numb while watching the Sabres. Its feeling like Buffalo again.

  19. Palmybeaches

If we hit 10 im showing up to the Arena with a bag on my head.

  20. Dr3aMWeav3r

Flat out, this team did not deserve to win this game. Pretty lack luster performance coming off 5 Ls. Sure looks like you don’t mind losing to me

  21. Moondawg3

They’ve only won games where they score 4 or more, and that is not a good look.

  22. dasokay

There are some problems that just can’t be outscored.

  23. Palmybeaches

Once again asking for SOME type of retaliation after watching your teammate get clobbered 3 shifts in a row.

  24. hunterbidenslaptop2

6 losees in a row and to the 2nd worst team in hockey…

  25. rebirtha88

Pinned in our own zone. Competent in theirs. As others have said, good teams find ways to win during nights like tonight.

The problem is we are fucking soft. We play the entire game on the perimeter and no one but Thompson or cozens will drive to the net (or stay in front of the net). It’s all perimeter plays looking for the fancy pass, or when someone shoots from the perimeter for a rebound, no one is there for the rebound because they all did a drive by of the net rather than stopping. I saw it a half dozen times this game. The term « net front presence » exists for a reason and we have absolutely none.

I don’t think joker is 100%. The tinted visor isn’t a great sign post concussion. Bryson was trying so hard to make things happen that weren’t there. Mitts showed a ton of effort but, like usual, made blind pass after blind pass to absolutely no one (or the opposing team). Dahls looked human today. I think Anderson really struggled today. His movements do show his age in the speed of the game these days.

Absolute no reason we have to rely on a single line for a majority of our offense. Imagine if we had 2-3 lines that could put pucks past a backup goalie. We wouldn’t NEED defense.

    Reasons to call up UPL:

    1. He has come up in periods of crisis before and played well.

    2. He’s rocking a .942 in his last 3 starts.

    3. Might wake up the room to see a different face in net.

    4. Might be time to figure out what they have in him.

    5. He was the second goalie off the board in 2017. The first? Jake Oettinger.

    6. If he allows four goals we might still win some of these games.

    7. I just need to see someone else fail in net at this point. If he’s going to suck, so be it, but this is borderline unwatchable.

    8. Wouldn’t we want to find out whether or not he’s ACTUALLY injury prone sooner rather than later? You just want to punt that question to next season? Really??

  28. StartButtonPress

Power is incredibly consistent and could become the best player on the team

  29. Yop_BombNA

If we could pretend to play hockey in our own end we win that game, pathetic

  30. Lanlis12

Tage’s back is gonna be fucked in a couple years. Carrying this team on your back for that long will lead to herniated discs, and trade demands.
