Holy hell! New Jersey is enjoying a hot streak! I don't think the most passionate Devils fans expected this before the season.
Rough. Catch catch a break. This means that we will see Slafkovský get more chances on that third line. I find it odd that he's with Pezzetta. Habs have to find a balance of what's best for Slafkovský's development and what's best for Dadonov's trade value. They clearly care about both.

The Habs look like a 1970's baseball team with those colors. Kind of reminds me of the Kansas City Royals in the Amos Otis years. He doesn't score much, but Bastian seems to be on the ice for a lot of Devils goals. Maybe because he plays on the Power Play. He's a big guy and I think the Devils are hoping he can develop into a kind of Anders Lee player around the net. So far he doesn't show the touch, but I guess he creates enough interference in front of the net to help out.
