Think Washington was looking to really get Godert and potentially injure him. I remember a game either last year or year prior where Godert went at the knee of a Washington player while the player was engaged in a block I think… regardless of details-succinctly remember Washington Players were livid at the hit after the game and defined it as a cheap shot… when their tight end went at the knee of Joshua Sweat-it reminded me of that past situation with Godert injuring one of their players with a block to the knee

Why not do what Washington did? Put in two or three Tightends just to block and double-team the defense and run the heck out of the ball. Use 4 wide receiver and integrate Pascal more to be that 3rd down possession receiver
During the off-season, the rules committee needs to include personal fouls as reviewable with a coach's challenge. Personal safety and accountability need to be enforced. If they continue the way they are going, some defenders may commit a personal foul if they know they can get over it.
My 3 points:
I watched W’s TE try to take out Josh Sweat by trying to hit him on his extended knee.
The D philosophy does not match the Offense… not completely. No pressure and Safeties are playing 25 yards too deep. If we do the same against Rodgers, Dak and even Jones we will not win.
Covey is a nice story but I don’t think he can play in this league. Our special team is definitely inferior to the rest of our team.
Blatant penalty that injures a player. Goeddert misses games. Guy who commits the penalty….Nothing.
