This isn't based on anything you've said, just based on something I hear in the media every year at this time of year. Friendly reminder that the term "quarter pole" refers to the distance from the end of the track, not from the start. Technically it's about specific distances (the quarter pole on a 1.25 mile race would still be 1/4 of a mile from the end of the race), but if we adjust it to percentage of the season completed, a more appropriate term would be the three quarter pole, not the quarter pole.
Sorry for the stupid rant that you haven't said anything to earn, I'll see myself out.
I think the sharks are coming off 3 wins with all praise going to Reimer for the team not being down 4 goals in the 1st period. I think this game is gonna be the can we win a game without the ceding a goal in: a defensive scramble(the sharks always find a way to bring chaos to simple outlets), a neutral/offensive zone turnover, the first or last minute of a period. The DET top line and top PP are dangerous in those situations more than most teams. Larkin shoots with speed and raymond always in for the rebound. Kubalik is finding " that" window (for the pass mostlty) and he's gotten points on that PP. And I think where the sharks are going to get hurt the most is hronek and seider from the line. Kaapo isn't seeing the puck as well as Reimer. I hope the force finds him soon. I really wish he was able to anticipate more.
For the Sharks I think this is a top line smash and grab spot. Feed either labanc or meier and let hertl grab that rebound. Or setup a bumper play down low because you've been shooting so often. In that VGK game it seemed like the Top line was waiting for the perfect opportunity to shoot not shooting to create an opportunity. Barabonov is playing like what people think Eklund is. Undersized, passing wizard, that is disruptive and dodgy. I think that line struggles this game because they are usually the shut down line. Lastly the hammerheads must have the best matchup. gotta believe that third line scores a gritty goal here. kunin net front, bonino or sturm floating a sedated wrister into the danger area, kunin with dustpan cleans up on a rebound.
Lastly does karlsson buy completely new skates or does he exorcise/purify the old ones. Love the content. I'll try to comment every video.
