Honestly a loss hurts so much less when we put up 4 than the bullshit 1-0 goal games

Time to do something Billy. Use those picks since our prospect pool is *sooo good*.

  3. Free money to be made on the wild rn. Bet the over when gustavsson is in, under when fleury is in.

It’s just fucking disappointing after last season. This team, even after losing Fiala, should not be this bad. I don’t know what happened. They just cannot score to save their lives and can’t get routine saves from Gus. We needed Fleury in net tonight, and who knows when he’ll be back from injury? Hopefully soon. They need to figure it the fuck out.

We had Talbot and Kahkonen. Now we have Fleury and Gus. Spot difference between these photos.

I honestly believe that Fleury was a business move. That dude has fucking millions of fans, all willing to buy his gear no matter what team he’s on.

We’re going to lose a lot, fine. But our team has lost its heart. Lost its fighting spirit. We don’t have that drive or urgency we had last year.

No comebacks, just throws. It’s a shitty feeling to slowly lose faith that we’re gonna pull it off. Fans can’t even state their displeasure without others saying « unnngh doomer. »

It sucks. We are sucking. Balls. We aren’t the same Wild as last year, we are worse. I want to better. « Oh, just wait another 4 years. Then you’ll see. »

Not the same team as last year😔

Hockey right now: less then ideal

Best part of watching hockey with a 4 year old is he cheers no matter who scores. May have to take a page from his book this season

Imagine being Kirill, trapped on a shit team, with a GM who doesn’t give a fuck during the prime of your career. I honestly feel for this kid.

Can we just send Rossi down to Iowa if he’s gonna play 4th line minutes. Like either put him next to some skill players and let him figure it out or send him to Iowa so he will actually play. Ik he hasn’t been good, but it’s not like the guys that are replacing him in the lineup have done anything to help the offense. We suck either way so it’s whatever to me.

Captain Obvious Game Notes — Gus can’t save a beach ball, PP is completely neutered, Rossi isn’t ready, idle money in Goose/Jost, injuries, still no 1C, S&P buyouts prohibit any meaningful change…looks and feels bleak for awhile.

Just sad after the electric season we had last year (minus the playoffs) big moves and decisions need to be made soonish if we want to salvage any squirts of piss chance of making a legit playoff run this year. If not, take the L and in the off season acquire a LEGITIMATE core offense to play around Kirill.

  13. Another very winnable game. Wild are *right there* until they’re not. That second softie was an absolute killer after getting that shorty and getting right back in it.

FEED line was the best line on the ice tonight by far, fourth line was invisible.

Haven’t hit rock bottom but the elevator is going down. Our schedule is gauntlet of top teams for the next 2 weeks, gotta scrape together some wins and avoid going on a huge skid.

  14. I don’t like to single out players in a hockey games in which you have constant line changes and matchups and if one is having a bad game there are other players who can step up, but holy shit there’s one guy that is out of that routine and tonight Gus has been awful. Totally awful and if not 100%, at least 95% of this loss is on him and him alone. You let in a softy I get mad, you let in a game changing softy (like @ SJS) I get extremely mad, but if you let in not one, not two, but three softies on three shots that had absolutely no business going in (and no big time saves to compensate) everyone has the right to be angry and mobs come to your house with torches. If this were the NFL he would be released tomorrow (like when Daniel Carlson was released by the Vikings after a terrible performance @ Packers and when Zimmer was asked if it was an easy decision, he answered « Have you seen the game? »). Sorry Gus but when you were bad last season you had the excuse of a bad team, this year you’re not entitled to that, as Fleury plays with the same players and he’s on track for a decent season after a rough start. Will Gus turn it around? I don’t know. Will he play next game vs Canes? I hope not and I fear so. Will he let a softy in? Well I don’t think bookmakers would accept bets on that, mainly because it’s sure money.

Doom and gloom? Yep, doom and gloom

Man I expected a step or two back this year but not a full sprint in the opposite direction

  17. tyrshand90

Atleast there was more goals tonight, just not enough goals again…

After people get over the love affair with Guerin and his tough talk, they will soon begin to realize his moves did not make this team better. Still waiting for his 1st round pick Rossi to score a goal. And Jost and Goligoski eating up $4M of cap space with no production is ridiculous. Guerin has his supporters, but the record and performance is on him.
