How in the holy fuck does the only player who has scored cleanly with a move on a breakaway (Milano) not get a look in the SO?
I remember when Laviolette first came to Washington, the general consensus was that his three year contract was the ideal length for his stay with Caps because after three years or so, he loses the locker room. That’s what we’re seeing now.
Also, side note, the « old and slow » excuse is garbage. Our age problem is almost entirely on LTIR and half our roster is kids from Hershey. Age is *not* our biggest issue, coaching is.
