  1. Their play is by no means perfect but they are definitely showing improvement. You can for sure see chemistry on the ice, especially between Leivo and Oreilly.

  2. They need to not put everything on Binnington or Griess’s shoulders. No doubt they are back to form but I feel like they still need do defend better and not have either goalie take a bunch of shots, Thomas Greiss took nearly 50 against the Capitals. The game against the Capitals they should have won in regulation but they let them hang around and lost the lead, they came back to a 4-4 tie before OT. Griess was solid in goal and had enough juice left to help win the game in OT. JB has been unbelievable between the pipes. Ryan O Riley looks like he’s coming back finding his game. The Ryan O Riley line has been improved which has been important over these past 5 game winning streak. All in all a very impressive win against a high powered team holding off Alex Ovechkin.
