I'm Canadian and I totally agree. I am very familiar with the Buffalo area where Kane was born, and it was only a matter of time before this hockey-loving region would produce a talent such as this one.
The only reason people are even talking about that is because he's 6'9. His turn was a lot wider and slower, and therefore easier. There's only a handful of players that can do what Kane did. It required more agility, vision, and precision.
