I see a strong resemblance of the expansion Mighty Ducks of Anaheim based on their physical, high energy brand of hockey!
They deserved a much better outcome last night, but man that was a heck of a hockey game. Also, I love the arena as a whole, especially the ice!
Home games are going to be a blast for the Kraken!
The kraken arena is beautiful
Seattle…
Please just win one game PLEASE
Nice! That arena looks incredible! I definitely need to see a game there…and bring a ton of cash for beer. Glad you were able to go to the home opener. Sorry they lost but it looks like it was a great experience. Cheers and thanks for the arena preview!
First off the arena looks absolutely gorgeous. So grateful for all the people who worked on it and helped build it. A wise man once said build it and they will come… oh wait wrong sport lmao 🤣 but seriously an epic night for all of Seattle. The Kraken played well, I thought they put a lot of pressure on Vancouver and had a lot of time down rink, which was also kind of a downfall because Grubauer was just sitting there the whole time not doing anything. But defensively much better, killed off several Canucks power plays. I think the Achilles heel of this Seattle squad is the missed opportunities. Geekie had one in the 2nd, and McCann and Bastian had multiple. If they cash in even 1 more of those opportunities they walk away with the W. Idk what they do to fix that, but I would like to see them be able to capitalize more often than not.
You were there? Damn! That's cool. Wish I could watch them.
That arena looks badass!
Very cool bts of the arena! Thanks for taking some video for those of us who are outside of Seattle!
Stadium looks so cool! Thanks for sharing some shots 😀 Can't wait to go see a game sometime soon.
I was at the game as well! Section 211. Had a blast, despite the loss can't wait to see more! Almost forgot how much better it is to see the game in person.
The arena is amazing but Ngl I’m worried about this team they just can’t close out games and have nothing ever going their way
This was a great video man, very fair analysis of the game and a great recap of the arena experience! I have family in Seattle myself so I used to go down there a lot before the border shut down; so happy for the city!
I’m a new hockey fan and your channel has been really helpful for understanding the sport. Can you explain what you mean when you say the Kraken are 1-4-1? I’m not sure what those numbers stand for so idk what to google 😅
There is not a bad viewing point. I had seat on the north west end way up in the corner and I felt like I was on the back of lower bowl/ front row of the upper bowl. They did a great job overall. They will need to crank up the horn and music during the goals, because the fans were reducously loud after the first goal. So much fun!
Thanks for getting that footage of the arena up! I grew up in Seattle and went to Sonics games in Key Arena…now I can’t wait to make a trip back home and see The Kraken in CPA…Lithium…Ferry Horn….I haven’t been this home sick in a long time. Our lads can count on me being there for them when they come to LA.
I work as a security officer at the arena. The atmosphere was great. If I knew you were there I definitely would of said hi
Great video. I have to say I was really underwhelmed by the pre-game festivities and intros/production. For a franchise’s first-ever home game, I expected more fanfare.
Too bad that Kraken ownership doesn't also own the arena like they do in Vancouver, it's a huge advantage.
Dang, you were up there. "Cheap" seats indeed. 👍
Glad you went and showed what you could to us out of the Seattle area. I did hear about how expensive the food and beverages are.
i think the goal horn currently is a recording, but they're installing the real ferry horn
You know whats a video that i have not seen- different team's playstyles. Might be good for new fans because many people who first get into hockey might think both teams are just playing the same way with the same strategy. What makes a "boring" style of play vs a "up tempo" play style. How does Hurricane's puck possession and power play line differ from Lightning's defense and neautral zone strategy. How does Penguin's and Flyers' offensive tactics differ ect.
I know this is mainly a Kraken channel but could be cool to review strategies as Krakens play various teams.
Hamburger $50. With cheese $75. With chips and a really small coke $100. Cant wait to experience that.
Lmaoff. I doubt there were even 500 people there.
One of the three stars during this game was the Seattle crowd itself
Oh my god, alright. First line of the video is “what’s kraken everyone.” That’s a sub right there. Lmao. Awesome video!
St Louis Blues wins Stanley Cup again in 21-22 season! Let's go Blues !!!!
Happy seattle has NHL Team now good luck guys
Gonna go see the Kraken vs. LA Kings tonight at Crypto (STAPLES). Go Kings, but excited to see the Kraken for the first time 🙂 Wish nothing but the best for your franchise! (ps I hope the SuperSonics return) 🙏🏽
The only thing more beautiful than the Seattle Kraken is this channel…. Newest sub, right here
FOR THE RECORD: THE FIRST CITY IN THE USA TO WIN THE LORDS STANLEY CUP IS SEATTLE METROLPOLITANS. If we can only get the Kraken to win the Cup!!!
