Xhekaj first fight in the NHL vs. a real established tough guy. Desaluiers gave him no chance by dropping gloves but he didn’t jump him. Let Xhekaj get set. In fairness it usually takes a couple years in minors for most to gain that valuable experience. Games different now so more like learning on the job and he has some learning to do!.

Both guys really connected 2punches each. Deslauriers should've have had a minor for instigating, but it's never called nowadays. I call this one the first draw Xhekaj gets in the NHL and this fight a mediocre 5.3/10
Happy to see some tough guys in the NHL again. Great fight, and a good show of respect at the end. Could tell by the way the linesmen didn't have to break them up they were having a good chat.
