    I knew I should have posted something about Cale Fleury….I knew he was gone. That's 3 potentially good, young defensemen that MB has pissed away this year…Juulsen has concussion issues and just has been extraordinarily unlucky with injuries but still might turn into a good player. Victor Mete is going to be a good skating defenseman and Fleury is the kind of guy every team wants on their blue line because he loves to hit. He keeps everyone on their toes because if they keep their heads down, he makes them pay. I must say though, this team doesn't look as strong as Vegas did!

    Looks like the GMs that were in place in 2017 learned thier lesson and Francis didn't learn his.
    Cautious approach cost him his job in Carolina.
    Seattle won't score and looks like a pretty boring team.
    Matches thier total stiff behind the bench.

    McCann was going to be taken off Pitts anyway, instead of losing Kerfoot, Dermott, or Holl (if he was exposed) they are losing a late draft pick and a b level prospect that will never make the Leafs…..honestly, I hate that McCann is gone ALREADY but smart move by Dubas!

    Pittsburgh loses McCann, Tanev and…6.5 million in salary but adds Hallander and a 7th round pick
    Toronto gives up Hallander and a 7th round pick.

    I’m shocked they’d pick Bayeuther instead of Domi. Like I know he had a bad year, but on a 1 year deal I think he’d be a bet to have a bounce back season.
