Special teams and excellent goaltending stole us the game. After how our season has been, that is something worth calling off work and getting hammered about.

Tarasov’s English is excellent.
As abjectly miserable as the start of the season was and as completely hamstrung by injuries the team has been, they are all of 4 points behind the Pens and just 2 behind the Caps (with 2 games in hand). And only 7 points out of a playoff position. It’s almost impossible to believe.
Not that I have any pretenses of this team being a playoff team, of course. That just isn’t going to happen with this blue line. But it’s nice to see them clawing their way out of the hole they dug.
How come Jenner isn’t getting credited for Johnson’s goal? He clearly deflected it in

If this team is gonna be a consistent playoff team in the future it’s with Tarasov as our starting goalie. Obviously he’s still raw but I think he’s got the tools to be a top 15 goalie in this league
If KJ would had completed that Michigan nationwide would had exploded .
Still glad to see JG and Boone starting to get a feel for each other especially when Vancouver is considering to trade us their slightly better version of Boone for *checks notes* KJ, Jiricek and an unprotected 2023 1st….
