Our offense sucks ! We only shoot from side angles , our offense can’t ever get in front of the net and if we do our guys try to go under the pads instead of going up top. Very annoying
Edit : I agree with ekblad , give him the boot 🥾 our team can’t be the same guys who haven’t ever produced in the post season.
One problem I see, we always cycle it down below the net and once they are there NO ONE IS OPEN. No one in front of the net and if there is he has two guys on him. Offensively they have to change. The same cycle play every time. So much more wrong with the team but that annoyed me the most.
You're absolutely right about Spencer Knight. He needs to be the starter from now on. Bob is aging fast, now the question is: will Maurice make the necessary changes?

idk what to think about this team rn. We look like we can be a problem down the stretch.. but then we look completely lost on both sides of the ice at times. oh well on to the next one go cats
I think Luostarinen is showing promise at least. They interviewed him after the 1st on the radio broadcast tonight and the players clearly like him.
There isn't one big problem with this team, it goes a lot deeper than that. Multiple little problems in games combine which leads to losses including in games we dominate or deserve to win. Those small mental errors and mistakes add up and are costing the team. You can literally point the finger at anyone, any position, or coaching for different parts of the games, the problem is that the team as a whole isn't consistent and can't play a full 60.
I totally agree with spencer u gotta give him the net no matter what give him lie 4-2 split with Sergei and we will be good
Here are some of my thoughts from an outsider perspective. The goal that is just inexcusable is the johnny hockey one. Bob sees it and probably should have it. However, the other goals i have a hard time blaming him over the shambolic efforts from the panthers. The first one was a turnover leading to a breakaway. The second one honestly was a good play by the jackets great keep in,screen in front,no way he sees it,back of the net. The third one was a SHG where the PANTHERS had 3 dudes in the defensive zone and NO ONE challenges the jackets player…. That’s just awful effort especially on a pp in a close game.And the fifth one was just a great tip in front again but also came of a lazy pass out of the zone. The panthers also offensively seem to either cycle too much or shoot right at the goalie. Any Nhl player goalie will stop 95% of those shots especially if no one is in front of the net for tips or screens. Just some thoughts here lmk if y’all cats fans agree.
This team still does an aggressive SOG they just can’t find the net. Barkov is still not playing to his caliber 100%. Lost some of his clutch magic, when he bailed them out quite a bit down the stretch last season. The defense is trash, Marc Staal is a liability, that stupid no look pass that lead to a breakaway goal got me going. He’s go no more skating in him. Bob’s best days are obviously behind him and Dale Tallon screwed this Franchise over with that outright dumb contract.
Agree with everything and also fractured team morale by getting rid of hubey and weegar in a way that reminds me of gallant's firing. Katchuk is great but who trades that kind of talent when they're happy, especially in florida where noone wanted to play before. Giroux wanted to be here, ktachuk wanted to be here… I wonder if the owner had something to do with it or zito is a psychopath. We had a good team that needed to shed salary and get defensive help. 💯 with Spencer Knight being starter. Bob looks worn down mentally and physically…Maurice dosent seem to have that fire 🔥 to get these boys going…Also Barkov doesn't seem to have that 🔥 to get these boys going as well…idk what the hell is wrong with this team but we have to much talent for our team to be losing to shit teams and be playing like we have been…I also agreed with the Ecky comments..dude is slow..if we rushed him back shame, cuz team was doing OK without him…idk! I'm one frustrated, pissed off fan! I'm tired of being Tampas Bitch and hearing them..I want us to run the goddamn state…we too good for this shit show
I'm kind of tired of writing about what I think about this team, but I'm telling you this team awfully reminds me old Panthers. You asked for 20 games, well, you have one more to go. Do you think it will make any difference? After 10 games it was clear that we got a problem. But you were very close with your prediction. I guess Stanley Cup prediction is out of the window now too?
Bobs so bad they can't even trade him… Clever bastard. 😔 they seem to be lacking fire. And that's a reflection of the current coach vs the team with Q as coach.
What a spot on assessment… Bob has never been all that great of a goalie, to begin with. He had the one good year in Columbus where he won Vezina and that may have been a one-off!! I was never a fan of his… but this team seems broken… the season will be over sooner than we would like. Why hire a coach that walked out mid-season cuz he lost a room… I wanted Bruce Cassidy!!!

If the Panthers could pull of a deal sending Ekblad and Bobs to the sharks for Karlsson … that would be the greatest trade ever pulled.
That was bad loss to take against the blue jackets, Bob gave up too many of the ones he should've saved.
LOL after losing to Columbus the Panther fans are having meltdown? I think the Panthers fan that think that they are going to win the Stanley Cup are now seeing how bad the team is. At lest you are still near the playoffs, but if you have a 7 game losing streak in January or February it could be hard to make the playoffs. So it might be time to fixed those problems.
We were scoring 8 or 9 goals against the jackets last year and now we're losing to them with 50+ shots. Bob normally plays good against columbus, goalies always extra motivated to beat their old team so giving up 5 to the jackets after already having bad games like this makes it clear that he's not cut out to be our starter. Meanwhile Bruno is on a 12 game win streak with the Devils and were barely a .500 team. At least Tkachuk is matching the points Huberdeau was putting up. Verhaeghe is still a beast, Spencer Kight has been great with a few games that he couldve done better. And yea Barkov aint doing shit hes never gonna change. Extremely disappointed with the coach and most of our players

I do wonder if Bob has a nagging injury or is it just mental. Might be that the war in Ukraine isn't doing the best for a Russian out side of Russia, especially in the western world. Even if he damns the war, he can't say anything, because in Russian laws you would get jailed for it, so if he wishes to go back to Russia at any point, he simply can't say anything.
Granted tonight there wasn't that much wrong with his play, just wasn't amazing either. Statistics kind of back that up, Knight isn't setting to world on fire, but he is making the saves he should and his stats are far above Bob.
Obviously I would like to have a better record, and I know you wanted to hit your prediction. And I do think Maurice will eventually be let go (just not yet). BUT…this team will still make the playoffs.
Need to make a defensive trade. Staal and that defense is terrible aside from Ekblad and Forsling
