JESSE PULJUJARVI COMMERCE?

#JessePuljujarvi #EdmontonOilers #Oilers #OilersTrade #NHL

  1. I’m pretty sure ever since he’s been an Oiler there has always been trade talks surrounding Puljujarvi

  2. Tyson Jost(2016 1st rounder)was just placed on waivers. Time to cut the umbilical cord as he's been given every opportunity.

  3. It’s either trade him for minimal return or they will have to let him just walk on the off-season. Because he’s not worth 3mil how he’s playing right now. I like him or he’s gotta go

  4. We need every bit of our cap giving true value. Pulujarvi just hasn't done it.
Whoever wants him and willing to give us return can have him.

He might become something great one day but it doesn't look like it'll be with the Oilers. Who are in a real push for the cup. Onwards and upwards.

  5. I guess, for me, it's a matter of "is he effective in his current role". Yes, scoring more would be great BUT he plays a role and up and down the line. He's an asset. Whoever's buying has to be willing to pay a price. Right now no one's buying. If he's going to be traded it really needs to be before the end of the year but things can turn around too. Great vid as always. Take care all. Oh, as an aside, I'd rather have JP than Yamo. Why? Yamo is great BUT he's small and takes a LOT of punishment which means he gets hurt. I'd rather have a player who doesn't get squashed. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to loose Yamo but…

  6. I think “Poolparty” will be more useful in the playoffs but a big question is who will we get for him if we did trade him?

  7. we should trust Ken Holland- i think he knows how to build the 3rd & 4th lines we got Pulju, Foegele & Yama for a reason & they could still be a great 3rd line and just 3mil each – they just need a bit more time together. Could have had a dynamic 4th too but he had to give Kassian away as ariz offered to take away our 2nd round picks in '22, '23, '24, & '25 so that will free up time in our scouting depts… and the good deal on turris ran out, but he may still be available.

  8. JP needs to find several new levels of intensity, then he could be great. I hate to say it but I think he needs a couple fights, he needs to take some punches and needs to learn how to play mad and aggressively! Get a chip on that shoulder and start finishing some checks, play with the puck and hit!!

When he spent the summer before last taking boxing lessons I had hope he might find his role as a bit of a bruiser! He never looks like he's actually working even close to 100% output!

Come on JP, if you want an nhl career beyond this year you have to work a LOT harder!!

  9. One of the reasons I started watching your channel was because of your take on Jesse. The lockdown season he was excellent. Last year he fell off mid season and never got it back. I bought a jersey too and the bison king shirts. But yeah it’s the zero finish stuff that worries me. He seems like he would be excellent at PK. Why not try it. I would still get rid of yamo first but that’s just me I think. Yamo is even more replaceable.

  10. I work with a guy who has a side-hustle of writing NHL articles, primarily about northern European players as that's where he's from. According to him, the reason CBJ took PLD instead is because (and I love the kid so this hurts but not my words) "Jesse is too dumb and soft, both emotionally and mentally". … think about every time he gets a glove to the face or a cheap shot in a scrum. He gets that bewildered look on his face and doesn't get why it happened.. again.

  11. Might have to simply put him on waivers as his 3million might be to high for a team and they may not want to part with an asset. With this we can keep Klim Shaddy and Janmark up and even Bensen when Kane comes back. That in itself might be the trade off. I'll miss the guy.

  12. Agree 100% Bro. The Bison King is a liability. For example, except for the one shot he had, last night, he gave up the puck every time he had it. Easily replaceable.
