This team simply isn't good. All the fans will do is reply to this by name calling and have zero argument. The team is in deep trouble. 19 games in with no improvement it's time to make changes.
At least Campbell could stop a puck with his face…… best aspect of tonights performance. According to Jay tonights game was the closest 5-2 game of the season. Oilers are 27th in defense……there is your self inflicted issue. Oilers are a team that needs to hit "a bottom" ~ an abyss to rise up from and resolve their issues…. they are not there yet…. they are not a cohesive unified team… Another month of this and the rumblings will get much much louder…. IF around the new year they are .500 or less…. good luck Jay.

BAD BANANA'S!! It's now an established repeating pattern. Even vet players causing horrendous turnovers at horrible times. Repeatedly. This team playing it's best A game with above average Goaltending wins a lot of games they're in, but that Team has rarely been here this year. I don't care how good the offence is, no team playing this level of Team D is going much of anywhere even if they make the playoffs. Something has to give soon. I Hope Kens working those phones…

Defense just sucks there's been no fix all season and since last season. Fire the Defense assistant coaches bring in someone new.
the complete screw ups Nurse keeps doing and costing us goals . hes just wandering around looking like hes lost hes not doing his defensive job at all every single game most goals against is all because of defensive (almost always Nurse) out of position or just aimlessly wandering around letting guys in off the blue line. Glad someone else sees this abysmal game play from nurse and the defense.
In my opinion its just grit that they miss. Watch the other good teams in the league play its clear as day the oilers dont play with enough desperation until theyre well too late. My opinion but what do i know

D’s are consistently out of position, I’ll say it again, work on the D zone positioning and 1vs1 battles. Triangulation and pressure are the keys. Gone on to long, time to change your D Coach.
Lindy Ruff is a good coach. Jay got our coaches. Why was Puljijarvi on Leo’s line ? He doesn’t like it.
Why was Foagle taken off that line. Why did Campbell not start ? Why do you keep changing everything up every game
Oilers seems to be bad in November like last year we struggled in November and December then acquired Kane and hired woody in January I think. Hope oilers turn this around
