I remember the season after the Canucks failed to win the Stanley Cup game 7. John Gibson got his first start in his very young career and got a shutout win against the Canucks who were still Top3 in the league or even won the Presidents Trophy too. All THE NHL analysts were saying it's the Gibson area now. They also went crazy and said the same thing when Jonathan Bernier arrived in Toronto. I still think John Gibson is a very good goalie or underrated.
I always root for Noel Acciari, a fellow Rhode Islander and Italian-American.
