  1. Nothing else than jersey reaction content… Love your old videos, but this is boring…

  2. The Oil Gear is an icon, I am an Edmonton native who grew up in the early 2000's, so this logo just screams what the Oilers were all about during this era, gritty underdogs that didn't spend as much money as many other teams that overachieved at times (unlike the era after this jersey, where they were just…. terrible). I own a Jason Smith signed McFarlane Jersey and every time I bring it to a game, people love it and ask me about it, there has been a consistent demand for this jersey since it was removed from the lineup in 2007. I was super unhappy with the first Reverse Retro from Edmonton because it passed on this logo. This is Edmonton's only real alternate logo and it deserves love, a form of it should be their alternate moving forward. I preordered one from the local team store literally as soon as possible, I would have preferred the oil drop not be all orange, like maybe outlined in orange while still dark blue, but it is eye catching and I suppose that is idea, as the orange differentiates it from the original. Hearing opinions from outside of town and lots over the past month has been interesting given my immense bias towards this jersey lmao.

  3. Not sure but was the Oilers first reverse retro jersey based on their AHL days? Making it a retro after all?

  4. I got one, it will be my first non-Bruins jersey. I can't wait to see it in person.

  5. Yeah, thats so weird that a dark blue cloth jersey isnt the exact same shade of blue as the shiney nylon pants material… 🙄

  6. Decent jersey. Something about how the orange is used throws me off but I can't pinpoint what it is or how to fix it. Personally I would've been happy if they would've taken the original jersey and just made a white version of it. Overall, it was a smart idea using the McFarlane jersey this time around.

  7. 9.5/10. So glad they went with the McFarlane gear jersey for this Reverse Retro. Love the colors, especially the orange oil drop inside the gear. I love the triple color numbers and that they are two different versions. One for the elbows and another for the back numbers. I wish they would have done three colors for the name instead of one color. That would have made it a perfect ten jersey, but still an elite Reverse Retro jersey. I'm getting it customized McDavid, #97, C.

One of the 11 Reverse Retro jerseys I am buying.

  8. I really don't mind the different shade of blue on the pants – it provides a subtle delineation between the pants and the top of the socks. If the pants were the same shade, I feel they would almost look like leggings
