The one time I agree with the Avs commentary — we battled hard and fought back till the very end. Don’t see that much so I’m sitting here grinning like an idiot feeling so proud of them, hopefully this kind of impressive play continues, win or lose.

We got really fucking lucky, a lot of weird bounces, puck luck was in our favor. The game was ref’d terribly for both sides.

Damn. Really wanted the L here to cement 2nd last place. This team is giving management, and more importantly ownership, too many ups and down to commit to a rebuild. A guy with Aquas hockey IQ will now think we are cup contenders.

Part of me hates games like this cause I never know what to think. This is exactly what they’ve failed to do all season and they do it against Colorado? It was the same shit last season too. They had a chance and blew some easier games only to go play a lights out game against the best team in the league. They were far from perfect tonight but they battled through it. That’s what they’ve been missing all season. And they did it against one of the best teams in the league.
